Resolved Question: Which workout should I do tonight?

I started training for xc on monday. Monday I did a timed 5K to see where I was starting at. Tuesday I did a half mile warm up, then a timed two mile. Wendesday I did a 4 mile run at a pace slightly harder than comfortable. What should I do tonight? I was thinking either a long, slow 5 mile run or another timed 3 mile or a 30 minute run, 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy Which one should I do and why? Thanks *I know I started late but I only have 3 weeks to train before the season starts so that's why I've been doing speed workouts. I'm an 18 year old female, 5'7" and 118 pounds if that matters and last year in XC my 5K PR was 18:42 but I'm NO WHERE near that right now because I slacked all summer. :(... Read More »
